I just wanted to take a minute to thank the girls over there at Tuesday Throwdown for having me along with them during the month of October. I had so much fun and feel like I've made a few new friends along the way! So of course I will continue to follow along and play as many challenges as I can. I hope you all will too!
So for my last creation as a guest designer for them, I'd like to present to you the challenge of
PRIMARY COLORS!
I remember before my last son was born, I decorated his baby room in primary colors. When shopping around, I understood that the main primary colors consisted of red, blue and yellow. So this is the color palette that I went with when making my creation for this challenge...have a look:
This is a close-up shot of the creation so that you can see all of the different dimension on the card...sometimes it's so hard to show it all with just one photo!
This cute little clown comes from the sponsor this week at Tuesday Throwdown which is My Grafico. They provided some images for the team to use this week from the Circus Stamps set. I've used this juggling clown and circus tent from the set. The juggling balls were cut out and attached around the clown for more dimension.
Here is a side view of the whole center-step card so you can see what's popped out on it. Other stamps I used beside the ones provided by the sponsor is from a Riley and Company circus accessory stamp set that I got...I thought some of the elements would work really well with it. The banner I colored in and hand-wrote in the "BIGTOP" letters.
And finally here is the full view of the center-step creation I made. I took some fun ribbon trim I had in my stash that I hadn't even used yet and thought it would go great with this theme. I also put more papers on the inside and stamped a "Happy Birthday" greeting. This was really fun to put together to try and come up with a little circus scene! :) I hope you've enjoyed it too!

Fantastic scene you have created Vicki! Life is definately a circus, trying to juggle everything to fit in the day lol!
