Get Shaped Up!!

CLICK HERE to enter my Birthday Blog Candy give away!  Ends October 20th!
 -------------------------------------------------------

Hello friends and happy Tuesday!!  Hope you all had a great weekend!
It is starting to get a bit chilly over my way...Fall has certainly come!  There is even talk of flurries in the forecast! YIKES!

I would like to take a moment to welcome the new followers!  I appreciate you stopping by and checking things out!  I especially appreciate the thoughtful comments!  I see that I'm up to 700...does this mean I need to make another blog candy give away?!! :)  I think so!!!!  Stay tuned in after the first one ends!

Today is another fun challenge on the Tuesday Throwdown Challenge Blog!! Yay!
And such an easy and FUN challenge it is!!  They would like to see your Shaped Creations!!  !  So I hope will be able to play along with us!
Here's what I created for the challenge this week:
Our sponsor for this challenge is a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, Catherine Pooler, and if you're familiar with Stampin' Up! products at all, then you may already know about ALL of the awesome products they have! :)

I am very familiar with Stampin' Up! products and use them quite often on my projects you see on my blog!  As a matter of fact, this is the first time I was able to get out this awesome Holiday Stocking Bigz Die to play!  I've taken the gorgeous pack of Holly Berry Bouquet Specialty Designer Series paper (specialty because it has some gorgeous glitter on some of the sheets!) and ran it through my Big Shot with the Holiday Stocking Die to create this fun ornament/gift card holder in one project!  I've also used the gorgeous Red Glimmer Paper for the stocking accents and ran it through the Big Shot as well.  It's hard to see in the photo, but if you could only FEEL the ribbon, you would be able to feel how soft and elegant it is!!  I've used the 3/8" Velvet Stitched Ribbon (Very Vanilla) for the hanger and bow for my ornament to hang.  All of the products that are high-lighted in red here can be found in the Stampin' Up! Holiday Mini Catalog!

One more thing that I used was an absolutely favorite Christmas stamp set of mine, called Bells & Boughs which can be found in the Current Idea Book & Catalog on page 43.  I stamped the greeting in Early Espresso ink and punched it out with my Decorative Label punch.  I sponged the edges with ink.  I then stamped the holly leaves from the stamp set, colored it in with my Copic markers, cut it out and then popped it up over the tag.  All of these items can be found in the current catalog...so be sure to contact a demonstrator to get the supplies you need to create your Christmas creations soon! :)

Here are some challenge I'd like to enter this for:
C.R.A.F.T. - Recipe:  1 ribbon, 2 shapes & some glitter
Stamptacular Sunday - You choose!
Stamp with Fun - gift (ornament/gift card holder)

So be sure to "get in shape with us" and play along! We look forward to seeing what you come up with!! :)  Thanks for stopping by today!!  I will be around to visit you all as soon as I can!  There's so much to catch up on! :)

Oh Vicki, I just love that Christmas Stocking and what a fab change from an envelope to give a gift card in. Every Christmas I’m asked to many money envelopes so I be nicking that idea and seeing if I can adapt it to suite.

Thanks for stopping by my blog this week.
The cross stitched piece that showed a glimpse of is finished on my other blog, I’d rather be stitchin’, along with the rest of my stitching. There’s a link in today’s post of one on the side bar of Krafty Kards.

Happy Crafting!

Hello, my friend! This little stocking GC holder is really awesome! What a clever idea! I actually saw it yesterday but my session was interrupted before I could leave a comment so I am back today. The papers you used on this is yummy and reminds me of vintage quilt or flour sack fabric. Perfect for this design. Thanks for your recent visits to my blog... you are always so generous and encouraging with your comments.

Hugs, Anniebee
