Woah Ooh! I Gotta Go...Back to School!!

TEE HEE!!  That's exactly what my boys have been feeling like these last two weeks!! :)
Well it's hump day today friends and I thought it would be fun to share a "back-to-school" project with you today!  So pull up a chair and have a look:
If you remember the two Magnolia-licious stamps I won last month, I wanted to be sure to pull out this really sweet Tilda with Pony Tail and get her colored in!  I thought she would make a great "school theme" creation!  So I pulled out my square coasters (which I have TONS of) and made this fun little box!

I've punched 5 holes on each end of the coasters after covering them with papers and strung some ribbon through each hole to lace up and tie a bow at the top.  The black paper that looks like chalk board was written the math equation with a white gel pen by me.  Then of course I added some gems, flowers and a metal clip at the top!  I used an extra coaster at the bottom and used some heavy duty glue to attach it together with the four sides of the box.
Here's a close up view of the front of the box so that you can see the details better.  Looks like she's REALLY thinking about that math problem...or perhaps she's just over-looking her school work and doing a little day-dreaming?!! LOL!!
And of course all that is left is to put some pencils inside!! :)
I've also made some of these before and filled them with some yummy treats too!
I think these would make wonderful gifts for teachers or for anytime of the year for that matter!  These are such fun and re-usable boxes!  And of course if you fancy making one for someone you want to make smile, then you can pop on over to SCS HERE where I got the tutorial from! :o)

Here are some challenges that I'm entering this in:
Paper Play - Back to School
Just Magnolia - BINGO! gems/flowers/ribbon
Magnolia Stamp Lovers - Primary colors
Paper Sundaes - Magnolia stamp
Totally Tilda - Back to School
TOMIC - Back to School with metal (clip at top)

So I hope that you've enjoyed my project for you today!!  Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by!  I will be back to share something FUN with you soon!!  :)
