TAG....YOUR IT!!!!

Well, at least that's the challenge today over on the DRS Designs Blog!!! (Don't forget to check out the blog every other Monday for a new challenge to try out!)

So if you haven't guessed by my title AND picture, the challenge today is to create something with tags!! I have plenty of them!! : ) I had actually bought a package of about 50 of these tags pictured with my card a few years ago...and obviously I still have them!! However, if you're not a pack rat like me, then there are also several other ways to show off those tags!! There are tag stencils, punches and I've even seen people create their own tag!! The point is that it's fun and I've always loved tags weather they are large OR small!! : ) So why not give it a try and show us what YOU create with your tag(s)!!??

For mine, I stamped the Birthday Candle Burst image on my tag minus the sentiment and colored it in with watercolor crayons and markers. I also added a touch of Stickles to the candles to make them sparkly. I fitted a brown mat around my tag and tied on a yummy brown ribbon!! For my background, I used the Flower/Zig Zag Border and stamped the Zig Zag design vertically on the main base turquoise panel. Then all that was left was to mount the tag on the front with pop dots and add the sentiment in the bottom corner with brown ink!
